Description

Overview

The Algodue PQM4000 Class A power quality analyser is a high-end power monitoring device that is able to measure and report power quality parameters in compliance with EN 50160. The PQM4000 provides advanced and highly accurate (+/- 0.2% accuracy) measurements of voltage, current, power, power quality, events, and faults. Monitoring is provided according to the IEC/EN 61000-4-30 Class A specification and standards.

In addition to standard three-phase power monitoring, the PQM4000 acts as an event/fault recorder, capable of storing a high number of voltage events and disturbances, frequency variations, inrush currents, etc. Additional power quality data can also be recorded, such as Flicker, Imbalance, Harmonics, Interharmonics, and Mains Signalling. Furthermore, additional voltage and current measurement channels provide the option to monitor Neutral Potential and Earth Leakage current.

With a built-in high-resolution capacitive touch screen and integrated webserver, the unit can easily be read locally and remotely, for quick analysis of recent power recordings, events or faults.

The device includes a range of communication ports for access to realtime and stored data. The Ethernet ports on the front and rear panels allow for flexible accessibility to local networks, also allowing for real-time monitoring, device setup, stored data transfer, maintenance operations via the integrated Webserver. An RS485 port allows for the connection of the device with other monitoring systems, such as a PLC or BMS.

An integrated GPS receiver provides accurate time information regardless of the location the meter is installed to ensure data and event reporting is provided along with accurate time data.

This advanced power monitoring device is best suited for HV, MV, and LV applications typically in large commercial and industrial facilities, or where monitoring power quality is important for the protection of sensitive electronic equipment.
