Overview
The Smappee Output Module is, next to the Smappee Switch and Smappee scenes, a cost-effective way to add smart control to the Smappee Infinity system. The module has 2 separate power relay outputs (dual throw: NO/NC/Common).
This device allows remote control of devices that are either directly powered (max. 5A switching capacity) or can control switching of a suitably sized relay/contactor for electrical loads exceeding 5A. E.g. Electric Heaters, A/C Units, EV Chargers, Boilers, Electric Motors, Pumps, etc.
The Smappee Output Module can also be used to interface with other smart devices such as variable load Heat Pumps.
You can add up to 10 Smappee Output Modules to the Infinity system, they can be daisy-chained with the RJ10 connectors. The modules communicate via Modbus RTU (RS-485) with the Smappee Genius or any other third party Modbus master device.
