Sam has been very helpful in explaining the product. My garage locates at the far end of the house, far from my house electricity main power switchboard. To perform dynamic load balancing would be an issue, as I do not want to have a 2 wires connecting cable (traversing through my garden to the garage) for the purpose . Lektri.co charger uses my existing Netgear Orbi wireless network to do the connection (via Shelly cloud). My electrician connected the hardware with no issue what so ever. My son did the software connection. No issue with wireless connection. No power overloading so far. Fast charging even with single phase. Very happy customer!
Purchased this new EV charger based on Sam’s recommendation. My EV charger installer and I were both impressed with how easy it was to install and commission.
Very compact and neat so fits almost anywhere.
As I had limited capacity due to being in an older property, I needed the ability to carefully set the maximum output so I didn’t trip any breakers. The App allows you to select 1 amp increments from 6-32A or if I add the smart monitor (I just ordered this), only use the excess solar I export.
I like the fact I can just plug into my BYD Atto 3 and it starts charging immediately and from the App, press stop and it’s done. But I can also set it up for more advanced charging management or if I had a fleet, I can do load balancing across multiple chargers.
So far very happy with the Lektrico charger
